From the moment we met him he was easy to talk to and get along with, always had a great story & being a long term local he was knowledgeable about all things on the island. Doing the overnight option was a great way to do it as not rushed, can do at your own pace and you’re not trying to get to everything at same time as everyone else who’s only there for the day. Highly recommend.

We saw 2 Albino wallabies which was very special.

I enjoyed the tour, overall. But my favourite was the oyster and cheese tasting. I won’t forget the 1792 cheese which was named after the year Bruny Island was discovered... read more as an island. Thanks to our guide, Grant, for the informative tour. There is a shop in Salamanca Market that sells this cheese but limited supply only. Where we had lunch, we also had some local cider tasting for only $2! Enjoyed the view from the top of Cape Bruny Lighthouse.

Full day tour that included lots of sights, yummy food and great guide. The lighthouse tour was great, I would only say that anyone though that has trouble walking the... read more hill to get up to the lighthouse can be hard if you are not fit. My mum is 77 and stayed down near the bus and lucky she did as I nearly died (yes I am not the fittest anyway lol) getting to the top so she wouldn’t have made it. But the views up the top are spectacular so if you can make it do it.
